4. DEVICE AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
4.1. The pointer consists of a working part, an insulating part and a handle.
4.2. An indicator is built into the working part of the pointer.
5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
5.1. The design of the indicator complies with the requirements of the “Rules for the application and testing of protective equipment used in electrical installations”.
5.2. The pointer handle has a ring-shaped stop on the side of the insulating part, at least 5 mm high.
5.3. The indicator operates without grounding any of its parts in all electrical installations, except overhead lines.
6. PREPARATION OF THE INDEX FOR WORK AND WORKING PROCEDURE
6.1. Remove the contents from the case and check for completeness.
6.2. Turn the working part of the pointer, turn it into the insulating part.
6.3. Perform a visual inspection of the pointer and allow it to operate.
7. MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES
7.1. The manufacturer guarantees that the indicator complies with the requirements of GOST 20493-90 and TU RA 01802164.0668-97, provided that the consumer complies with the conditions of operation, storage and transportation.
7.2. The warranty period is set at two years from the date of commissioning.
7.3 The manufacturer is responsible for hidden defects of the indicator during its service life.
7.4. The warranty period of storage is 6 months from the date of manufacture of the index.
TEST RESULTS
The indicator withstood a test with a voltage of 12 kW for 1 minute.
The insulating part of the pointer withstood a test with a voltage of 40 kW for 5 minutes.
The ignition threshold voltage of the indicator is slightly more than 550V.
Conclusion: The voltage indicator is suitable for use in installations with voltages from 2.2 to 10 kW.
