Rules for shoe care

RULE #1

Choose the right shoes

Footwear must be used strictly for its intended purpose and must be selected taking into account the certification of workplaces, the actual presence of harmful and dangerous factors at workplaces.

    RULE #2

    Choose shoes according to size

    Shoes should be selected according to the size of the foot. The shoe size specified in the metric system corresponds to the actual length of the foot, expressed in millimeters.

RULE #3

Take your time when putting on your shoes

When putting on shoes, it is necessary to carefully unlace them, unfasten the fasteners. You can only use shoes, the inner surface of which is in good condition and relatively dry.

RULE #4

Choose one size larger for winter shoes

Insulated work shoes must be used with insulated socks. To do this, choose insulated shoes one size larger than the actual size of the foot. This way, you will eliminate the compression of the insulation and the feet and keep warm.

RULE #5

Be careful!

Avoid walking in icy areas. Be careful when climbing stairs, walking on uneven surfaces. It is not allowed to climb high metal structures, if these types of work are not the direct duties of the employee.

 

RULE #6

Know the measure!

Safety shoes should be used only during work. Continuous use of work shoes for more than 9 hours is not allowed.

 

RULE #7

Clean the shoes from dirt

After use, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the shoes from dirt, for this you can use a damp cloth and special cleaners for leather shoes. Do not clean shoes with organic solvents.

 

RULE #8

Spread cream with cream

To preserve the elasticity of the upper skin and prevent it from cracking and drying over time, leather shoes should be lubricated with a greasy shoe cream at least once a week.

 

RULE #9

Dry your shoes properly

Drying of shoes should be done far from heating devices (at a distance of at least 30 cm from steam heating batteries), in a straightened form.
